Flat Bottom Silo

Flat Bottom Silos are large-capacity grain storage structures with a level base, designed primarily for long-term and high-volume storage of grains such as paddy, rice, wheat, and maize.

They are used when maximum storage capacity, cost efficiency per ton, and long-term grain preservation are the main requirements. Flat bottom silos are typically equipped with aeration, temperature monitoring, and sweep auger systems to maintain grain quality during extended storage periods.

The flat bottom silos are supplied with all the accessories necessary for the operation of the entire plant.

Hopper Bottom Silo

Hopper Bottom Silos are grain storage structures with a conical (hopper-shaped) bottom designed to allow complete and automatic discharge of grain by gravity.

They are used when fast unloading, zero residue, better hygiene, and frequent material changeover are required. Unlike flat bottom silos, hopper bottom silos eliminate the need for internal cleaning or sweep augers, making them ideal for short-term storage, buffer storage, and high-throughput grain handling systems.

Hopper Bottom silo can be used for the storage of seeds. They can also provide temporary storage of wet grain as part of a grain drying plant. Other possible uses are as buffer bin applications in silo plants.
